If you are reading this, you must be around the 18-22 week mark. Congratulations! You did it!
As I type this, I am in my 19th week of this beautiful journey. The journey where you wake up every morning, foolishly trying to get up quickly, and realizing there is something coming in your way. When you become an expert at peeing in the dark so as not to wake up (wouldn’t recommend this for everyone, don’t do it if you can’t!). When you calculate your water intake before you sleep so you don’t miscalculate the number of times you need to take a leak. And most importantly- When you are nearing the half-way mark (woohoo!)
I had this travesty of booking an anomaly scan when everyone in Doha, Qatar decided to be pregnant at the same time as me. Adding this this, it was Ramadan time, which made it even more difficult to get the attention of the hospital staff who were working in shifts or decided to take their annual leave break then.
